LAKE HARTWELL
Lake Hartwell is located in the Northeastern Georgian Mountains and the Northwestern part of South Carolina. It is less than two hours from Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC, and less than one hour from Greenville, SC. It is formed by a Corps of Engineer dam at Hartwell, GA. With it's shoreline of 962 miles, it's an ideal location for residence, retirement, vacation, or investment real estate and features over 80 publice boat launches, recreation and park areas for some of the best boating, water-skiing, and fishing in Georgia and South Carolina. You can fish all year long, and Largemouth, Hybrid, and Striped Bass are some of the more popular types for fishing in Lake Hartwell.
