Western Upstate Home Sales Statistics through Third Qtr 2008
Here in the Western Upstate MLS, year to date through 9/30/08, 2454 residential homes sold. That is -28% verses the same period last year. The waterfront home sales here in the Upstate are taking an even larger hit. Their sales are -33% verses year ago through September, however the average sold price is stable verses that same period last year. The average price of all homes across the Western Upstate is -2% verses through third quarter year ago. Below is a chart with the actual numbers which shows the statistics for the waterfront homes on Lake Hartwell separately:
